Take a quick power nap of seven minutes to improve your memory.A friend introduced me to power naps a year ago and it has given me lots of benefits.

A power nap can give you a better health by improving your memory and increasing your alertness.
It keeps you from feeling sleepy throughout the day.

Nodding off on the train or bus is a good thing if it's happening some time during the afternoon and if it's about 5-30 minutes long. It's shouldn't be shorter or longer than this. If it's longer you'll most likely to wake up groggy and sleepy - this won't happen if you keep it short.

My friend experimented with this and found out that 7 minutes is the "perfect" amount of time.

When I do my power naps I usually lay down in my bed and set my cellphone to wake me up after 45 minutes. This leaves me a couple of minutes to nod off as I am never really sure how long it takes for me to fall asleep.

I always feel refreshed afterwards which is great.
